Also known as Pig Beach it’s the official official home of the swimming pigs. This uninhabited island in the Bahamas is filled with pigs who reside in the island and swim in the surrounding waters. The explanation to how the pigs got to the Bahamas is unclear. Some say the pigs swam to the island after a shipwreck. Other say sailors dropped them off and planned to come back and eat them. Despite the uncertainty, it is undeniable that Big Major Cay is a top destination in the Caribbean.
Playa Paraiso, or Paradise Island is just as its name suggests. Head towards the southern region of Tulum to find yourself in a paradise of crystal blue waters. If you’d rather soak in the knowledge of the history check out the Mayan ruins alongside the coast to learn all about its culture.

Mesmerizing colors flow through Caño Cristales and is known as Colombia’s River of Five Colors. This incredible rainbow of colors come from the mixture of yellow sand, black rocks, a red plant called Macarenia clavigera, green algae and blue waters. This natural phenomena occurs through the months of July through November making it a perfect destination for the warmer seasons.
Take a stroll while sharing the view with the adorable sea creatures roaming around the Galapagos Islands. Because of the lack of natural predators animals such as sea lions and tortoises allow visitors to come close and share the experience the beautiful islands have to offer.
Known to be the world’s biggest flat salt, Salar de Uyuni is a beautiful wonder in Bolivia. During the summer and winter there lays a thin layer of water which reflects the sky and its surroundings making every angle a picture perfect moment waiting to be captured.
Ecuador is home to beautiful scenery all around, but for the best view check out The Swing at the End of the World. Hanging from the tree branches of what is known as La Casa Del Arbol, this tree house swing allows you to have an incredible view of Mt. Tungurahua the neighboring active volcano.
