These are my second pair of Fortress of Inca shoes and I plan to make it the second of a few more. The comfort of the shoe, particularly after my feet have not worn anything close to a heel in the last two years, makes this boot easy to walk in for many blocks! The leather is gorgeous and while I was apprehensive about buying such a light color, I have leather conditioner to help keep it healthy. Thank you Fortress for another excellent shoe!

I have three pairs of Alexandra Paige and I’ll probably go for a fourth. They’re the perfect profile and heel height. The leather is buttery soft and the shoes themselves are so comfortable I could wear them to work and THEN out.

The leather was very rough and dry. I had to condition the leather to soften and improve the leather. The original color was an orange brown. I was hoping for a richer brown. With conditioning the leather, it darkened the color to a nicer brown.
