Leather is a natural material and will last for many years with proper care. It is normal for leather shoes to be snug at first, as the leather will give over time.
- LWG-certified nappa leather upper
- Vegetable-tanned kidskin lining
- Solid wood platform with natural rubber sole
Our Whiskey Nappa leather comes from a tannery that is Leather Working Group (LWG) Silver certified and 100% traceable.
Each wood platform and heel is hand-carved and stained. Due to the natural characteristics of wood, the stain color will have variations, letting the grain's organic patterns shine through and ensuring your shoes are as unique as the hands that made them.
Heel height: 70 mm
Platform height: 25 mm

Great quality with comfort and ease of wear. I wear a US 8 with a wide foot due to bunions. I ordered size 39 but still had to use a shoe stretcher for increased comfort. These shoes aren’t slippery and feel like they are meant for my feet. So great that I have 3 pairs in various colors. I’d advise using cedar shoe fjords for storage to reduce sweaty/smelly shoes, though.
I was hoping that these handmade clogs ethically made in Peru would look as good as they sound and they do! They clogs are comfortable and great looking. A note: I got the suede cornflower blue in size 36 (I am 6.5 US) and they are barely big enough length-wise. I have medium width feet and they are fine width-wise. Next time I will size up.
I think these are super well made- and they’re very stylish yet neutral every day clogs. So worth the price because you can tell they’ll last many years!
These shoes are beautiful but the faux wood look on the heal isn't very resilient. I've worn them twice for just a few hours and they're already starting to show wear and minor dents.
Hi Erin,Sorry to hear the platform/heel is already showing damage! Rather than faux wood, the platform and heel consist of solid wood covered with a leather wrapping to give it the 'stacked leather' look. Nothing faux about it! It is then treated with a protective varnish.Since the outside of the heel is leather, it's still delicate and will show scrapes and dents, which can happen with wear. We recommend using a quality leather conditioner or salve on the upper as well as the platform, as these products can often help reduce the visibility of marks and keep the leather supple. Regular use of leather care products also helps to protect against future wear and environmental factors. For more significant repairs, local cobblers or leather repair professionals can work wonders in restoring the original look and texture. Many of our customers have found that even deep scuffs can be improved with professional assistance. Please let us know if you have any questions about recommended care products (we have some on our site!), or feel free to email us photos of the areas showing wear and we can diagnose further.
