We offer free domestic exchanges of unworn and unused merchandise within 30 days of delivery. When returning an item for a refund, $10 will be held from your refund to cover shipping and restocking. You may choose to return an item for store credit at no additional cost. Click here for details.

Cute and comfortable
I bought these for a conference and wore them. 12+ hours very comfortably. Fit is true to size and color is even better in person.
Love
I am usually a true size 39, but I had to size up to a 40 in this shoe. I was worried that the 40 would be too big, but it fit really well. I purchased the olive green color and it's a perfect neutral in my opinion. I find myself reaching for this pair almost every day and wish I could get them in every color, but alas! They seem to be sold out...

Beautiful shoe
I love these shoes. They are beautiful and just the color I was looking for, but they were unfortunately a bit too small for me and sizing up up would likely result in too loose a fit. I have other Fortress shoes and they are well made an extremely comfortable. I’m certain these Jane’s will be perfect for someone!
Beautiful, classic Mary Jane
I fell in love with this shoe last year when Fortress first released it in colors, but really wanted black; when I saw that they had added black to the collection I had to have it. And as always with Fortress shoes, the craftsmanship is beautiful. I love the simplicity—no trendy flourishes, just the perfect classic Mary Jane—the upgrade to the Chinese slippers I wore in my boho high school and college years. However, as some others have said, the fit of this style is a little tricky. I’m a consistent size 40, but initially I was afraid this shoe wasn’t going to work for me. I have a long, narrow foot with an enlarged toe knuckle (okay, bunion), and the front edge of the shoe cut painfully into that part of my foot. I tried the next size up, but the 41 was far too big. I considered returning the shoe, but I really wanted it to work, so I decided to try stretching it (I ordered a width stretcher and stretching spray to do this myself instead of taking it to a cobbler). It’s not fully comfortable yet, and I don’t know that it will ever be a “travel shoe” for walking miles, but it seems like it will stretch with wear. And it has become my favorite “between seasons” shoe.f
