Libardo’s Zapateria was formed in 2007 by a collective of 16 talented artisans in Medellin, Colombia. Over the past 17 years, the factory has flourished, now employing 55 employees, primarily single mothers with extensive experience in women's footwear production.

Libardo's unwavering entrepreneurial spirit and desire to create a positive social impact in his community led him to establish his Zapateria. Together with his wife, Olga, they run their factory with a guiding ethos of respect, openness, and creativity—values that resonate with us and our Fortress community.

In 2023, we embarked on an exciting journey with Libardo's team to reimagine our line of sneakers. Their meticulous attention to detail, unmatched expertise, and infectious excitement were evident from the start, and we are deeply grateful they chose to collaborate with us.
