I have been a giant fan of fortress from the beginning. They are literally my favorite shoes in the entire world and they last a lifetime. My original boots have Been worn so many times and they have lasted for well over a decade. Not only are the shoes amazing but the company is so well run. I ordered a pair of shoes and they didn’t fit me quite correctly and the ease in which I sent the ones back that didn’t fit and got the new ones was done at lightning speed. Truly happy with my purchase and everyone needs a pair of these shoes.

These shoes are so well made and feel amazing on the foot. They are just a little too chunky and "fire engine red" to be eye-catching elegant. If the heel and toe were more angular/boxy/sharper edges and a bit narrower and the color not so orange, they would be the perfect shoe.

The Salvador is exactly as described. It is a beautiful shoe and very comfortable. I do not typically wear heels but wore these with jeans last week. The shoe looks great dressed up and down. I’m definitely going to order alternate styles to fill out my wardrobe. I ordered the suggested size and it is a looser fit, but works great.

I was searching for months for a classic black heel and am so happy to have stumbled upon the Salvador! The heels were comfortable the moment I slipped them on and continue to be comfortable all day long. These shoes make any outfit look polished. I'm getting compliments on them every time I wear them. Took a minute to break them in but wasn't too bad.

I love these shoes so much - but do size down one size. I typically wear a 8/8.5 depending on the shoe. I got the 38, but wish I would have gotten the 37. I also have the Luisa - which I purchased in a 38 as well but these fit snug. So I assumed the sizing would be the same across the two shose, but they are not. I would have given these a 5 stars, but for the inconsistency in sizing. Super comfortable and look great. Heel height is perfect.

Very good quality. I would say the size is very big. I typically wear a 39 but went down to a 37 which is a little tight but I hope it will stretch. The 38 was much too big even. Very beautiful though

I love the style and the color is both lovely and versatile. Have not had the opportunity to wear these out yet (it's still boot season in NYC!) but they seem very comfortable around the house.

I loved these Huma Salvadors. The quality was unmatched, but the sizing seemed off and I ultimately to return but am anxiously awaiting the next season of shoes to drop so I can be a return customer.

These heels are super comfortable and fun. I can wear them for both work and dinners out. They fit true to size for me - I originally sized down as instructed and had to return for my normal size 41. They have a nice toe box, which makes my toes and feet happy.

I have waited several years to buy a pair of Huma Blancos. After receiving my order and trying them in I was disappointment to find the toe box was extremely flat and pushed down on the tops of my toes for an uncomfortable fit. The fit otherwise was good, very soft leather and comfortable insole. I ended up returning.

These shoes are strikingly beautiful and shockingly comfortable. The first time I wore them, it was on a date to an architecture event. They looked perfect. After the talk we went to dinner. I live in Manhattan, so this was a lot of walking!! Shoes felt great all the way home. Still super comfortable on subsequent wears. Obviously beautiful.

I bought these shoes in black. They are very comfortable, and I basically only wear sneakers and clogs. They can be dressed up or down. I needed some black pumps, but wish I bought a different color. True to size and no break in time.

I really love my Salvador heels. I bought my first pair a year ago in white and I always get compliments when I wear them. When I saw the wine color I ordered those as well. The shoes are a little big I sized down 1 eu size and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable -I am on my feet all day at work so there are very few heels I will wear!

Perfect right out of the box!

This shoe is comfortable and beautifully crafted. My only issue is that they are not offered in half sizes. I have a wide foot so I would usually size up which I did but my foot kept slipping out of the back. I then ordered the size down which fit perfectly but they are a bit snug in the width. I kept them hoping they stretch a bit with wear.

These are the perfect work shoe! I was worried that they would be too high to wear all day, but they are incredibly comfortable and so stylish. Love them! The wine color is beautiful, too. Lots of compliments!

I struggle with close toed heels and these are seriously comfortable. They are beautiful and feel timeless.

I was on my feet all day the first time I wore these, and they were honestly the most comfortable heels I've ever worn! I love the unique silhouette- one thing I would love to see in the future is a deeper stained heel.
