I love your shoes! I bought the Ava clog a couple of years ago and they are my favorite, most comfortable go to. I got the Elise Ankle boot for a lower profile. My foot glides in like a glove. You can tell that the design and crafting is well done. I bought the 39 in both styles, but the boot has a narrow toe box. It's tight, but I loved it too much to return. I prefer a snug fit, I think the leather will stretch and it will complete the glove fit:) Thank you for creating superior products!!

Nothing better! These have flair, comfort, and high quality. They are easy to put on, yet make you look put together. Leather is soft, and higher quality than generally available these days. All that and a laudable company mission. Can't be beat.

I received my order today and the boots have a scuff on one of them and the soles are scratched and worn. It’s apparent I was sent someone’s used return. At this price point it’s unacceptable. I hope to hear back from customer service soon. I had considered exchanging when I saw just the scratch but later when I went to pack them up I saw the bottoms and was shocked.

These are so soft, comfortable, and stylish! Fortress has become one of my favorite “go to” shoe brands that consistently provide me with comfortable AND cute shoes, both of which don’t typically come in one package! Love these shoes so much!

This is my second pair of Elise boots and they are always my go to with jeans, dresses, casual, & work. So comfortable from the get go.

Truly checks all the boxes. Classic style, comfortable without a break-in period, and high quality that looks like this boot is well-made to stand the test of time.

This is a gorgeous shoe, but fits a little bigger than the Charlie, and my heel slips a little when walking.

I was surprised that these were so comfortable but definitely feel that they ran at least .5 to a full size too big. I was walking out of them and unfortunately it’s not a shoe that can be worn with socks.

I was a bit concerned the heel was too loose as the rest of the shoe fits more closely. But it works great for the slip-on style with socks. I walked about two miles in them the first day and they were so comfortable! Beautiful craftsmanship and I appreciate supporting such talented artisans.

The bootie looks just as pictured. I took the sizing quiz and it suggested 39. I have wide feet and I sometimes have to size up for that. The 39 fit perfectly without socks, which works for the weather right now. I imagine they will stretch a little over time. They are very comfortable and they are beautiful.

Gorgeous, high quality, probably really comfortable if I had the correct size. I went with the size recommendation instead of my typical size and they were too small. I absolutely would have exchanged for a larger size but they are now sold out. Stick to your gut on sizing and I am sure you’ll be happy.

I’m impressed so far with the quality of the leather and heel construction. The shoes look great and are very comfortable walking around. I have worn them only one day so far, so will update my opinion depending on how well they hold up after traveling more miles.

Where have these been all my life! Incredibly cute and so very comfortable, too. My feet slip right in (size 36). I need them in all colors!

I was deciding between this bootie and the platform clog, and thought this bootie was super cute and versatile. It is narrow in the toe, but comfortable for my feet. I love the black with the wooden heel.

I love these booties, and all of my Fortress shoes!! I have a difficult time finding shoes that are comfortable, but these are beautifully made, high quality and so comfy!!

I ended up needing to exchange for a smaller size, but wow, these shoes are gorgeous. And the footbed is as comfortable as advertised. Can't wait to walk around the city with these pretty booties.
