Absolutely love theses. I have both the red and blue pair. They are so comfortable and high quality. I have a high arch, but I don't find the band to be too tight. I'm a size 8 and ordered the 39s because I find Fortress shoes to be short on the 38s.

Beautiful shoes, but the champagne nappa scuffs very easily, and every mark shows, making them look much cheaper than they are. They’re comfortable, though not the most comfortable Fortress style I own. I usually wear a US 7 and order a 38 from Fortress for my wide toe box; this pair feels slightly large, but a 37 would almost certainly be too short.

I absolutely love this shoe. The only problem is that it's so narrow, which seems to be the style for Fortress shoes since the other pair I got was also really narrow. The color, construction and materials are all perfect. I really wish it was just a bit wider so my heel doesn't slip off it all the time.

Love these slides! They can be dressed up or down (I just wore them to a wedding and they perfectly paired with my dress). True to size and I love the red color!

The color really pops and they look excellent on - I felt like I was having a Carrie Bradshaw moment in these because they look (and are) really high end. All of the little details are in place. I can see myself wearing these with both dresses and jeans, they can elevate any outfit you think up

I bought these shoes for a trip to Saint Tropez. I needed cute shoes that were comfortable and small to pack. They were great! They stretched out easily and I could wear them all day walking on cobblestones.

I didn’t find this style very comfortable compared to other fortress shoes I have.

Loved these sandals, but was in between sizes and unfortunately had to return.

I didn't know that I was going to have a new go to for my everyday when I purchased these slides. I did need to break them in for them to be super comfortable and now I wear them everyday. The heel is just enough to either dress up or for casual. I purchased these in whiskey but I plan on buying all the colors.

Beautiful, comfortable shoes. True to size or just a bit on the small size. I wear an 8/8.5 and got a 38 first, which were too short, exchanged for the 39 and they are perfect.

These shoes are beyond cute, but they ripped the skin on my toes. I’m not sure how this doesn’t seem to have happened to anyone else… The material is very stiff and I tried to add tape and silicone blister stickers but nothing would stick/stay on the shoe. I’ve only worn them twice and had to wait several weeks in between for my skin to heal. I want to love them, but they’re just so painful to wear.

I bought these shoes in blush to wear for my upcoming wedding and I love them so much. They are beautifully made and fit perfectly. The practical heel makes it so I’ll be able to dance the night away. Also I love how I’ll easily be able to wear them all summer since they can be dressed up or down super easily.

Love the Rachel - part sandal, part heel, goes with everything. Beautifully made. Takes a bit of breaking in but super comfy once you do.

My co-workers keep calling me out for wearing these EVERY DAY because I can wear them with everything from jeans to dresses to wide leg cropped pants (my fave combo). I LOVE the Caramel color, looks great with everything and the leather is very high quality--I can tell these will last forever!! Honestly, my plan is to slowly get rid of all my other shoes and phase Fortress of Inca into my closet....next up is the Michelle--I'm coming for you!!!

I was so excited to see a blush slide from Fortress and ordered a pair in my normal size (7.5 or 38). Unfortunately the slide was too narrow for my foot and I had to send them back. I did consider keeping them with fingers crossed that the leather would stretch over time but my practical side took over and they went back. The shoe was high quality and very stylish, it just didn’t fit me right.

I'm in-between sizes so I sized up and these fit perfectly. Simple and classic style. Well made.
